If you want a good native version of Return To Castle Wolfenstein to run on your Lion based Macintosh may I suggest bzzwolf? Basically it's the open source code of Return To Castle Wolfenstein with some merging with ioQuake3. So it has quite a few features related to that.

On my system I'm able to run it at 2560x1440, 16xAA and 16xAF.... antialiasing settings above 4x actually work in it using the new r_ext_multisample console variable and don't seem to affect the performance as one would except with a title as old as this.

One thing you have to be aware of though is I had problems launching it related to the dylib files. It has a "Main" folder inside the .app file which typically is where all the pk3 files, etc. would go and it has the game related .dylib files in there. However it looks in the folder right outside the .app folder for them instead so it crashes if you don't copy them to that folder. At least it did for me.

Single Player

Multiplayer

Something interesting is the developer is even adding in a COOP mode into the SP portion of the game. There's instructions there on how to get a COOP mode going in the wiki.

I almost forgot to mention that it doesn't support widescreen natively from the in game menus yet... neither does ioQuake3 though... you still have to do the:

r_mode -1
r_customwidth
r_customheight

cvar trick and then if you want modify the fov to match the aspect ratio\to your tastes.

Awesome!

Would this also work, in the future, with Enemy Territory?
"They're everywhere!"

And now, time for some Legend of Zelda.

AFAIK Enemy Territory is separate and would have to be worked on separately. There's no mention as to whether they are working on that version of the game.
