I have been playing KOTR on my stepson's MacBook Pro during my lunch hours, but he's going to be off to Michigan State University pretty soon. Where can I find my saved game files if I want to transfer them from his MacBook Pro to my iMac?

I guess it does. That's from the disc version. Have you scoured 'application support' already? Maybe try running a search for '000001'; for some reason all the saves have five zeros in front of them. Another odd thought: how about rummaging through the app package itself? I kind of doubt they're in there, but you never know.

For the App Store version of KOTOR, the save games will be within the ~Library/Application Support/Knights of the Old Republic/ folder.

I hate apps that fill up my Documents or home folder..
"They're everywhere!"
And now, time for some Legend of Zelda.

I'm having trouble with this in general across a number of games. Perhaps someone here can help. I need to pull save files from both KotoR (how I ended up here) and Vice City. Both were purchased through the Mac App Store. For both games I've found instructions that say ~ / Library / Application Support, etc. When I go to my disk drive and select ~/Library/Application Support... I don't have an option for KOTOR. When I goto users/Robert/, there is no option for Library. Does anyone have any idea why I can't find the file I need? Thanks in advance!

Try doing this:
In Finder, go to the "Go" menu and select "Go To Folder."
In that window, type in "~/Library/Application Support/"
That should take you to your user account's Application Support folder, which is hidden by default in Lion.
