There's an FPS on the Mac App store called Modern Combat: Domination, has anyone here tried it? It looks like many next-gen FPS's, it's only $12.99.

I haven't played that game, but maybe it's interesting to point out that this is basically a port of a PS3 game (which is of course based on the iOS franchise).

The reviews seem to point to good gameplay, but a buggy port that crashes a lot. I'd probably check this out if they fix up any crashing issues.

This is actually the first game brought to the Mac by Gameloft that isn't a direct port of an iPad app. Which means the graphics are worthy of a true current-day computer game. Hopefully Gameloft ports more of their PS3 games - provided they improve QA testing beforehand.
I notice that Gameloft also did Prince Of Persia Classic for PS3, which would be amazing if they brought that to Mac too!!

Tried this out and its basically a really poor Counter Strike clone. If you want that style of gameplay just play CS.
