Borderlands GOTY AppStore version stopped working under OS X 10.10.

Simply does not start. anyone else has this problem?


Rage works, Velvet Assassin works, Doom 3 works...

Whats your hardware, and have you updated 10.10 to the latest software update version? It may be driver issues AGAIN with certain cards... maybe. I might be able to swing a version from MGS for you to test as well, but will have to get back with you on that.

OK, I redownloaded it again, now it works. maybe some access rights issues when I migrated from 10.9 to 10.10.
and I found even the savegames are compatible from the PC Version, nice.

PS: I am using the MBP 2011 in my signiture

::tBC breaks open his double barreled shotgun and removes the 10 gauge magnum shells::  I was just about to put you out of your withdrawal miseries.  Remember to pipe up as soon you get the game going again or it won't work out so well for you next time.

yep, no issues with 10.10 and Borderlands GOTY. Apple's upgrade from one OS to the next one however can have unexpected bugs at times :) If in doubt always do your upgrade clean/re-install your apps.
