Anyone know if it will run on a MBP with a Geforce 8600? I know I have 512 VRAM, but not sure if its a powerful enough graphics card. The minimum states an 8800, but I'm unsure how much of a difference it would make.

bought it from the mac game store.
Runs decently on my PRO. gets choppy at times though when there is a few enemies on screen. Gonna have to upgrade the GPU soon.

I'm working on a review of this game for IMG right now which I hope to have done by the end of next week.

Just thought I'd resurrect this thread to flag that the expansion 'Pirates of the Flying Fortress' is on amazon.co.uk for £5.43 but only a few copies left!
Also they appear to have the royal Edition of the main game itself for £19.99 (!?!?!) which is an absolute steal if true. I paid £50 for mine and it was well worth it - the box is huge and you get loads of extras for your money: statue of the prophet, hardbound art book, two worlds two playing cards, bonus DVD. mousemat, PC version of the game in DVD case with manual & map, codes for a couple of bonus items. Note however that you need to download the Mac version as it doesn't come on the disc. However this is a native game and runs really well.
The only downside to the Royal Edition is it takes up so much space
