anyone play this? it actually looks pretty good... although it seems like it has a steep learning curve... not sure.

Yep. Great game. The learning curve is not as steep as it seems, since you can tweak the difficulty pretty well. Only downside is that the game definitely shows its age.

What Janichsan said. EE is a great game, and the learning curve really isn't that bad, especially not if you're already familiar with flying helicopters in sims.

It's getting up there in years, though, and looks it.

When there's a multiplayer version, I'm going to be on Frost's team. Well, except he doesn't seem to actually need a team...I mean, what's the point? "Hey look, it's Frost and His Merry Gang of Useless Hangers-On!" Or something.

Started playing this again. It just does not get unfun, even though it looks quite aged.

Feral, I'd totally pay you guys $5-10 for a UB like MacSoft did with Halo so I could run this on my MacBook Pro without having to reboot into Windows. I've got the Mac version but only my G5 and PowerBook can run it. :(

Agreed  — especially since a UB already was in the works. Since I don't have (or really want) Bootcamp, I don't have really much options to run the game: the Windows version does not run with Wine/CrossOver and has bad texture errors with Parallels. :(
