Hey i am a huge fan of Total Annihilation, how ever every time i install the disk into my new MAC running on Snow Leopard it says that its not compatible due to the game being to old. Is there any way in installing the game with some other method?

You can try using the SheepShaver emulator, but it's kind of fiddly and you need a copy of OS 9.

To play TA properly you REALLY need a PowerPC Mac that can boot up under OS9. TA's one of those games that doesn't work well under emulation; not even under Classic.
A PowerMac G4 will give the best performance if you have access to one or can get one off eBay for an acceptable amount.
Of course, you could always just buy the PC version and dual boot too.

When there's a multiplayer version, I'm going to be on Frost's team. Well, except he doesn't seem to actually need a team...I mean, what's the point? "Hey look, it's Frost and His Merry Gang of Useless Hangers-On!" Or something.

The only thing that doesn't work under Classic is the CD music. Frankly it worked just as well ripping it and putting on loop play in iTunes; I played through all of TA and the expansions that way, so the tracks have, er, a rather high play count....
Of course, Classic isn't an option on Snow Leopard even if that ran on PPC, so it's a moot point.

I've had TA under Classic work fine on my PowerMac G4, but my and others' G5s have mild to severe problems with TA. For example my cousin's Omega-model G5 can't play it for longer than about 10 minutes without the graphics getting screwed up and/or the game flat out crashing, and while my Cypher-model G5 plays it okay for the most part, CD music doesn't work and clicking on the minimap gets the cursor glued there until you control-click a few times. Never seen it run without problems under Classic on a G5.

What did you play on, though?
2.5GHz G5. I updated TA to version 3.1.2b6 and it works without crashing or any other glitches that I can remember...I played through the entire game, expansions, and a bunch of skirmishes until I finally got tired of it.

Well then I maintain you used some kind of G5 cheat code.
