2010 is a lost year for the Mac. I hope it's only 2010... :(

i just *know* if i buy one now, a month later the i9 based machines will be out.
For God sake man, would you please just bite the bullet and buy your Mac Pro so the rest of us can get a refresh?

I finally gave up and just went for a MacBook Pro. Not that I'm unhappy. This is a great machine. But some day it would be nice to park a new Mac Pro under my desk. Apple? Hello...?

Wasn't the only things we (well, not actually me) were waiting for was a large enough amount of Intel CPUs or something like that?

Sorry mate, sadly I do not know. These are two articles I could dig up quickly on the issue: processor debut and widespread unavailability.

well, "End of Summer" gives me the time to replace the 600 bucks from my new-Pro fund that i just spent on an iPad.

edit:

speaking of which... anyone want to buy a barely-used 80GB iPod Classic and a Sony eReader?

Tomorrow! Tomorrow!
I love ya Tomorrow!
You're always
A day
A way!

(maybe we'll even get a 5830 to go along with the envy of 5900's and 5870's)
(GTX 460's might be a consolation prize, though)
(Hopefully the entry level aren't stuck with the Intel IGP)
