Hey there,

I tried to buy Civiliztion 3 lately but it has been taken from the shelves. Is there any Mac-user witch still has this game and wants to sell it to me? I live in the Netherlands.
Thanks

If I have my copy (and I suspect I still do) I have no problem just sending it to you. Gratis. I'm pretty sure I still have the manual too. I will let you know this evening.

I tried to buy a P-51 Mustang but it has been taken from the hangers.  Is there any Mac-user witch still has this WWII fighter and wants to sell it to me? I live in the US.
Thanks.

Oh and a 1978 Ford Mustang with King Cobra body styling and the 302 CID V8 option.

And hell, just throw in a Mustang horse while you are packing the box.

Turns out that I do have the manual, still, and the Civ II (2) disk, but not the Civ III disk. Weird. I have the Caesar III disk but no manual. What do I do with this stuff? Sorry, Thegardener. No luck.

You tend to see copies come up occasionally on Amazon UK or EU, or eBay.  You'd just need to check regularly until you get lucky.  Alternatively, if you don't want to wait much longer, there are copies of Civi 3 for Mac going right now on Amazon US, but not cheap for an old game:

Sid Meier's Civilization 3 (Mac)

If you've an Intel Mac, might be an idea to get a cheap copy of XP SP2 or SP3 from eBay, even Windows 7 if you've an eye on the future, then buy a cheap PC version of Civi 3 & Boot Camp it.

There's an ebay auction currently up for the Macintosh version of Civilization 3 Complete. It appears that the seller is willing to ship to the Netherlands for a fairly reasonable price.

After probably 2-3 years without playing Civ III (I have been playing a lot of board games and occasionally Troy) I started playing again a couple of weeks ago, on Emperor, an Ancient Mediterranean campaign. Ahh, I had forgotten how much fun solitaire strategy gaming can be. I'm now thinking once again of picking up Civ III complete because ... my brother just bought a 15" 1.67 G4 for $300! Ha, yes we enjoy using previous generation stuff! We are thinking of doing some multiplayer. But we were a bit surprised at how expensive the game is, $43 at gogamer. Need to find a cheaper place to buy it.

Oh and my computer? 2003 12" 1ghz G4!
