Citing a "very reliable confidential source," Gamertell recently revealed that Telltale Games may release its entire collection of game titles for Mac users this year, possibly as early as February. The company's current game lineup includes the Sam & Max series, Tales of Monkey Island, Strong Badís Cool Game for Attractive People, Bone, and Wallace and Gromitís Grand Adventures.

We have it from a very reliable, confidential source that Telltale Games may be planning to release its entire lineup of games to Macintosh very soon, possibly next month (February 2010).

The timing is perfect to coincide with the upcoming MacWord 2010, taking place February 9 through 13, 2010, at the Moscone Center in in San Francisco, CA (USA). An official announcement likely wonít be made until then.

Wait a minute... Wasn't last year's Macworld supposed to have been the last one? Either that or my memory is fuzzy.

Anyway, great news! :)

You can read my update on this at my site. Oh, and by the way, I'll be meeting with them at Macworld. They'll "have some more information for [me] then." ;-)

This is excellent news. I'm surprised these games weren't released sooner on the Macintosh, but better late than never. My only concern is that, if their entire collection is to be released at once, it may have been Ciderized. Still, as they use in-house tools for development perhaps I'm mistaken.

It would make a lot of sense to just add the Mac as a deployment target for the Telltale Tool. They've already deployed on the Wii and 360, so it's clearly not completely inflexible and locked into Windows.
