anyone know if this exists or not? Just coming across some old games to take to the goodwill and was reminded how i loved this game.

It's far too old to have an OS X port. The only similarly ancient games that have OS X versions are the result of open-sourcing engines, and LucasArts isn't exactly going to open-source anything.

The DOS version runs fine in DosBox.

There is also a mod being worked on for Jedi Academy which I tried the demo of - brought back some memories of playing the Mac version years ago:
