Having just applied the update from Mac OS X 10.6.1 to 10.6.2, Prince of Persia (Mac) has slowed to a crawl using settings that previously delivered fluid frame rates.
Has anyone else observed reduced 3D performance in 10.6.2?

It's supposed to boost performance significantly in Bioshock
MB: 2.0 GHz CD | 2 GB DDR2 | GMA 950 | 500 GB Seagate HDD | 10.6.2
PC: 3.6 GHz C2Q | 4 GB DDR2 | ATi 5850 | 500 GB Seagate HDD | W7 x64

Yes for the NV cards the 10.6.2 update fixes a driver problem which had a HUGE effect on the performance. ATI cards are not effected although I am sure the 10.6.2 patch might help a bit.

rob-ART ran a bunch of benchmarks comparing graphics performance between 10.5.8, 10.6.0, and 10.6.2 with the HD4870 and GTX 285. The results are all over the place in terms of increases and decreases. On average though, 10.5.8 seems to be the most consistent fast performer, which is kind of disappointing.
