For most computer rally-racing fans, the Colin McRae series of rally games (pre-Dirt) are the gold-standard by which all other rally games are compared. By this lofty yard stick, Rally Master fares pretty well. As I said, the graphics are top notch for the platform, and are nearly as detailed as some of the earlier next-gen McRae games. The courses come in a wide variety of environs, although unlike the McRae series, there are no distinct geographical regions specified during the game. You will find yourself racing on dirt, gravel, tarmac, and in snow and rain. While the handling for these surfaces is mostly spot-on, I found that the tarmac sections were decidedly less forgiving than those in the McRae series.
