Is this possible without having to use Bootcamp and Windows?

I know on Crossover it's not supported to well...

I have heard the data on both DVD's are the same, I just wasn't sure if that was true or not.

Not legally no. Buying the Windows version does not entitle you to have the MacOS version for free.

If it doesn't work to well in Crossover then your out of options for running it in OS X. You'll have to use it in bootcamp
MB: 2.0 GHz CD | 2 GB DDR2 | GMA 950 | 500 GB Seagate HDD | 10.6.2
PC: 3.6 GHz C2Q | 4 GB DDR2 | ATi 5850 | 500 GB Seagate HDD | W7 x64

I think your right... I'll probably just end up getting the Mac version when is not $50, that's insane...

Do you have to run the DVD on that version?

I'm not sure, I don't own it for mac, but there's certain ways of getting around having to use the disc ;)

Just get it used from amazon. $31 is much nicer than $50...
Polytetrafluoroethylene to my friends.

Macbook Pro - C2D 2.4Ghz / 4Gb RAM / WD Scorpio Black 320GB ( 255GB OSX v 42GB XP ) / Geforce 8600M GT 256Mb / 15.4"
Cube - G4 1.7Ghz 7448 / 1.5Gb RAM / Samsung Spinpoint 250GB / Geforce 6200 256Mb

We won! Apple offer the 17" with a matte screen! Well... at a price...

I don't know how well that would work since you use the CD key to make an online account, so if it is used, I don't know if the CD Key would be any good for online play.
