Call of Duty Universal Binary Patch

There is one problem with it that I managed to work around. The patch installer puts the UO files in the wrong directory, which causes servers to kick for impure files. To fix the problem, simply move the contents of the "Call of Duty/Main/uo" directory to the "Call of Duty/uo" directory. This will overwrite some of the old UO files with the new, updated files. After that the "Call of Duty/Main/uo" directory can be deleted.
It will probably be a good idea to also grab the new PB files made available by Brad Oliver. http://www.insidemac.......36648&st=52

It all seems good except for a couple of minor graphics issues in both single player and multiplayer.
1. In the first CoD mission, "Pathfinder", the moon appears as a hazy light blob in the sky instead of a nice full moon. Also, the footbag that contains the beacon objective should be flashing yellow, but instead it is just a dull yellow.
2. In UO multiplayer base assault, the base icon at the bottom of the screen should be flashing when a bomb is planted. Instead, the base icon disappears.

PPL might want to note the download weighs in at 350MB... it might be easier on their servers if its not so heavily advertised via the likes of a news article on IMG?

seta r_mode "-1"
seta r_customheight "1200"
seta r_customwidth "1920"
seta cg_fov "90"
(swap the resolution numbers for your monitor's max values)
However, this makes all the movies besides the Aspyr logo black with only sound. Any way to fix this?

I noticed that, too, regarding the video. I'm not complaining or looking to fix it... I think I've been playing this for the past hour and having a LOT of fun with EVERYTHING turned to max. My monitor maxes out at 1680x1050 but, again, I'm not complaining. Like CoD4, though, I'm thinking of lowering the resolution because it seems the texture resolution isn't helping make it look much better. The framerate is through the roof, though!
By the way, don't you have to add a command in the config.cfg file telling the app to run the autoexec.cfg?
Thanks again, Crispy!

Application lauches and quits immediately with this message in the console:

I can launch the app by opening the application bundle, and open the executable file in the MacOS folder but then, PB is always on off and i get kicked.
EDIT: one pb folder was still in the application support, I erased it and PB works but I still can not launch UO without opening the app bundle. Any idea ?

For the launch problem, have a look on this picture:

On the left, you have the info of a friend's app, on the right, you have mine on the same computer (mine), without Rosetta option
When I put the good version in the CoD folder, it worked. When I zip and expand my app, n°2 appears at the end of the name, it worked, if I remove "2", it didn't launch. I put back "2" at the end, it worked, I move the app on the desktop, remove "2" at the end and put it back in the CoD folder and ... it works now. Very strange but it must come from my computer. I, and all the iClan members, are so happy to play UO like in the old good times on my G5, thank you very much for the patch !
Brad, I have another question to correct my launcher iClanASC. PowerPC version of UO under Leopard accepts the service command like "connect to" or "perform command". Universal version under Snow Leopard does not. CoD2 and CoD4 accepts terminal command like +connect and +password, it may be with UO:
/Applications/Call\ of\ Duty/CoD\ United\ Offensive\ MP.app/Contents/MacOS/CoD\ United\ Offensive\ MP +connect 88.191.73.77:29000
But it does not work
Is there a way to send a command to the patched UO under Snow Leopard allowing to connect directly to a server with or without a password ? Thx.
EDIT: I just tested the service under Leopard on my MBP and I obtained this error:

It tends to confirm that services do not work anymore with the patched version of UO, neither under Snow Leopard, nor under Leopard
Another way to connect to a server directly ?

Try creating a text file named "MacCoDParms.txt" in your Call of Duty directory, and put your command line arguments there. I haven't tested to see if this still works with the UB patch, but it works fine with the PPC version.

Ideas?
I just tried connecting to four servers running custom maps, and on each one downloading never starts. It just stalls at the "estimating" message. Brad, could it be an endian issue in the networking code that handles downloads?

@iomatic: iClan UO players have no problem with the patch (except for installation) but we all have our own custom maps already downloaded, I will make a test as soon as possible to see if we can dowload new maps with the game.

None yet. I submitted a support ticket for this issue and for the issues described by DBSor. We'll see how Aspyr responds.
I was hoping that Brad Oliver would jump in and shed some light on the matter, but I guess he's busy with his new job at Feral.
