Demands: USB, over the ear, microphone. Around 50$ I think. They will only be used for gaming, so they don't need to have amazing sound quality, but the microphone should be okay.

Gentlemen, give me your recommendations! The last headphone thread was 2 years old, so I thought it was time to start a new one.

I've had this pair for a while. Good sound quality all-around. They connect via a 3.5mm to USB converter, but that's never caused any problems for me.

I've got a pair of uber cheap logitechs ($10) that i use for gaming that apparently have great sound quality (according to other ppl in the server, and on skype) . You can't really go wrong with the mic, the more money you pay usually goes towards better sound quality

Also, I'm really digging the Creative Fatal1ty USB Gaming Headset HS-1000. But I've looked around the interwebz, and apparently it doesn't work with a Mac, even though it is USB! Can anyone confirm this?

Sorry, I can't remember the name and I've thrown out the box (there's no name on the actual headset). I do remember that they weren't "gaming" branded. I think they were more geared towards businesses and voip and stuff
