Welcome to the world of Gang Street Wars! Gang Street Wars is a tower defense game with Real Time Strategy. Tower defense games are very popular in iPhone applications. Real Time Strategy (RTS) is also popular in console game. We mixed up both two together and made a new type of applications!

I'm going to move this allowable spam to the iPhone/iTouch Gaming section of the forums.

The fact that this is blatantly spam, and obviously by a spam-bot, and not a real person, is making me think. Will this sub-forum come to a point where nearly all of is is just spam-bots and whatever else trying to sell their product? I seriously hope not. Should spam-bots' posts of iPhone and iPod Touch games even be allowed on here?

Liberator.

Also, as a side not did not tower defense arise from the Real-time-strategy genre (maybe specifically in WCIII)?

This thread is specifically about games, as are these forums. We have an iPhone forum that fits this thread to a T. It's not abandonwarez, pirated or in any other way illegal. We allow other members to spam their own games, why not this guy?

That is a blatant lie Realmaze3D! I would never Realmaze3D spam my own game, and I never have Realmaze3D spammed my own game, and Realmaze3D you know it Realmaze3D!

Is that even supposed to make any sense?

I just think that when a spam-bot is allowed to keep their post, it is overstepping the mark. It turns from a sub-forum where it is about iPhone and iPod Touch games, and people showing their games off, to just spam. I think that is just going too far.

Where is your proof that this is a spam bot? There are things behind the scenes that make it nearly impossible for a bot to make any sense of the registration process.

I would also assume Hiroshi's real. Okay, the post is somewhat rather very spammy but it makes sense (taking into account that the company he's spamming for is Japanese, even the Engrish makes sense).

Yeah, I do agree with you tBC. As Janichsan said, it initially stank very strongly of spam for me. I guess I am not experienced enough (or something) to know the fine line between proper spam and a very curiously spam like, yet completely authentic and legitimate post.

Well one important thing to take into consideration is if it is relevant to the forums, and it is very much relevant to games and the iPhone/iTouch. Also is this post helpful and informational to the users? I believe it is, and that folks here would likely click the link and check it out. I did, to see if it was authentic, I believe others with the right hardware for the game would too. Yes, it's spam. It is very much spam and it would have been nice if the guy contacted us first but he didn't. He didn't make any points with me but I'm not going to make you guys suffer for that.

When there's a multiplayer version, I'm going to be on Frost's team. Well, except he doesn't seem to actually need a team...I mean, what's the point? "Hey look, it's Frost and His Merry Gang of Useless Hangers-On!" Or something.

By which you mean all of those spammers on the Strategy subforum? I was wondering why nearly all spammers go there, I do not understand it.

All of this is now a moot point, we are now officially spammers heaven. Better buckle your seat belts, or find a forum that can ban them.
