But now we have scientific proof of cats using a "soliciting" purr in order to get their way. Though Im not sure how you can solicit whilst using the overtones of babies crying....
Clearly the scientist who conducted these experiments is resistant to your subconscious attacks, so I expect he'll probably be dead within a week and all references to this test past and future will be removed.

The Council is working on this issue as you apes grunt. We have yet to decide his punishment, but rest assured, it will be a horrible one that will make your Cthulhu fiction seem like a fairy tale wedding. She (Bast) is very very angry.

Babies aren't that cute... they all look like Churchill...
If you read the article I linked to, it says that cats have learnt to add the overtones of babies crying to their purring when they want something and arent just purring out of pleasure. Equally they learn to do this early in the morning in order to wake up people, when mewing would probably just get them kicked out of the room. The difference between the two types of purr is important as one would fade into the background whilst the other would get your brain into "what does it want?" mode and often elicits the wanted response of food and water in bowls on floor in front of fridge.
You see all animals are smart to a certain degree and will learn from their surroundings. Press this button to get food at certain times of day,
don't touch the electrified fence,
if I make a cute gurgling sound the big things hang around for longer,
if I cry when Im uncomfortable then the big things will come along and make me more comfortable again,
that little big thing makes a particular sound and the bigger big things go and do things for it, but if I make a loud noise when I want stuff they ignore me. Maybe if I add parts of the noise made to my happy sound, they'll pay me more attention.
yes, people look for ways of humanising other animals and objects, but a lot of the time those things can be justified and demonstrated scientifically. Its just that in order to then express it we have to relate it back to humanised things.

Just last week I went into my boss' office and fired up the soliciting purr and asked for a raise.
Nothing.
So I took it up a notch. I did the soliciting purr and did the figure eight between his legs.
Still nothing.
Perplexed, I flopped down, hoisted my leg, and proceeded to clean myself as I tried to come up with a new course of action.
Boss yelled at me and told me to get the hell out of his office.
He did, amidst all the yelling, mention that I was freakishly flexible tho.

This kind of thing works better if you're a woman. Men, not so much.

When there's a multiplayer version, I'm going to be on Frost's team. Well, except he doesn't seem to actually need a team...I mean, what's the point? "Hey look, it's Frost and His Merry Gang of Useless Hangers-On!" Or something.
