Surely what you really want is an updated version of the Steel Battalion Controller. Dont forget to upgrade your system to be able to handle 3 monitors at the same time so you can get the whole cockpit recreated.
While you're at it, why not just build a whole mech?
That trailer has me wanting the game be MMO, with a central super computer AI controlling the sides in the battle, giving you orders as to where to go, what target to take down. That would be insanely awesome. Think Supreme Commander but you play one of the mechs.
Macbook Pro - C2D 2.4Ghz / 4Gb RAM / WD Scorpio Black 320GB ( 255GB OSX v 42GB XP ) / Geforce 8600M GT 256Mb / 15.4"
Cube - G4 1.7Ghz 7448 / 1.5Gb RAM / Samsung Spinpoint 250GB / Geforce 6200 256Mb
We won! Apple offer the 17" with a matte screen! Well... at a price...

The unique part of the Mechwarrior originals is that it FELT like you were in a huge Mech, the controls were simple and it definitely isnt like playing Halo lol.
I would also be mad if they dumbed it down!

1. They have mech classes (ie, Jenner - D)? Interesting.
2. Boy, that Jenner went down quick. The fall when that building collapsed must've broken both legs. Moron pilot--he had jump jets.
3. Isn't that "Warhammer" actually a Loki?
4. For a guy whose primary armament is two PPCs, he sure had bad aim. Two hits from 50 meters range is not exactly impressive marksmanship. In any event, it's not smart to slug it out point-blank with a mech 35 tons heavier than you.
5. That Atlas looked way too short, and at 39% health, it probably shouldn't have survived that core meltdown.

No, it's really a Warhammer: smaller PPCs and the rocket launcher on the shoulder looks different. (Nice site, by the way – I didn't knew that.)

Yup, once or twice it looked as if his aiming went awry by the recoil before he actually fired.

Probably due to the fact that he kept getting nailed that LBX-10 or -20 autocannon.

Right. That's more obvious when seeing the trailer in full HD glory.

They really should of tried to target the pc instead of trying to help make the PC less popular with making a 360 version of it. 9_9
