I would like to introduce a new 3D action tower defense strategy game entitled WidgetTD. More details and download links can be found here:

Oustanding among the many innovations introduced in WidgetTD, an exclusive Tower View mode allows the player to take control of powerful Turret Towers, slow enemy progress using Cold Towers and guide explosive ballistic missiles from Silo Towers. That's not to mention what you can do in Tower View with the other tower types: Flame, Poison and Electric!

During normal gameplay, players have full camera control so the action can always be viewed from your favorite angle. A special tutorial mode allows new players to quickly get up to speed with the relatively simple game controls.

The full version of WidgetTD includes four mazes including "Easy", "Normal", "Hard" and "Impossible", plus 5 original music tracks to accompany gameplay. 6 types of towers and multiple upgrades are at your disposal to stop over 40 types of robot invaders. Additionally, unlockable Random and Unlimited play modes infinitely extend the gameplay.

The demo is quite nice. I really dig the retro look and being able to change the viewing angle. That said, are there going to be more than four stages available in the future? Right now it just seems a tad bit limited. How about a level editor?

In the current version of the game, to increase replay value there are unlockable (hidden) play modes that are revealed as players complete the basic mazes.

That being said, more mazes would be a nice addition; there could be new ones in a future version. As for a level editor, that is a great idea. I wonder what options should go in an editor, ideally?

Please let us know of any other suggestions.
