Seems Virtual Programming has released "complete" packs of several Paradox strategies. Europa Universalis 3, Hearts of Iron 2, Victoria and Crusader Kings. Now I've never tried any of these, so I'd appreciate suggestions on which one to pick/start with. Does any one have a less steep learning curve or anything? Not that interested in WWII at this point, so I'll rule out hearts to begin with.

What are your system specs? Those games demand RAM, a lot of calculating goes on. I'd shy away with a G4.

If I had to place them in order of preference:

(1) EU3
(2) HOI2
(3) Victoria
(4) CK

They all take some learning. VP has forums for them, but you'll get the greatest exposure at the Paradox Interactive forums. Paradox developed the games, and published the PC versions.
