Anyone know anything about this? Looks like a total Lemmings rip-off, which isn't a bad thing since I quite enjoyed Lemmings all those years ago. Apparently runs on PPC and Intel, but seems to be very low-profile since I can't seem to find any reviews, or even a mention on Virtual Programming's own site.

Lemure Seems to be a Lemmings clone

It's a Runesoft port, so that should explain why it doesn't show up on VP's site. The game has been around for a bit, but I haven't heard about any reviews either.

OK, so I took advantage of the "buy 2 get 1 free" thingy on MacGameStore and got this free.
As it turns out, it's worth getting for not-free. It is, indeed, pretty much a Lemmings clone with a bit of spiffing up. Which is good. Runs fine, sounds as you would expect, looks pretty nice, although I'd prefer the foreground to stand out more from the background. The presentation is a tad iffy (dodgy translation from German, hard-to-read help screens, a little old-school shareware-esque in certain areas), but overall it's a nice little game. Man it's been a long time since I played Lemmings....

There's probably a couple ways to do Snowbound Tower, but if you use the whirligig lemur on the first one out to drill a path through the snowman to get the crate, and then build a bridge over the gap (probably a lemur will go over the edge in the process, but that's OK, you can lose one--although you might be able to save it by using the leftover bridge to slow it down), and then pickaxe as much as you can to the right and then use the rocket launcher to get the rest, that will do it. If a lemur went over the edge and got stuck, you can blow it up to finish the level. See pic:
.With Eye of the Lemur, let the lemurs on the right get to the statue (unlocks a secret level), and then pickaxe right so they get out of the pit. Then make all the lemurs on the left jump over the first gap (not enough bridges otherwise). Back on the right, build bridges over the gaps...best to do this as soon as possible when there aren't many lemurs yet, because you can't lose any. When those lemurs are escaping, go back to the lemurs on the left and use the two whirligig lemurs to dig under the two support blocks, and away they go.
