Saw this on USA Today this morning:
http://www.usatoday....ve_N.htm?csp=34
Notice it says "Apple Macintosh" as one of its platforms. They go on to say:
"Games such as Far Cry (Ubisoft), LEGO Batman (Warner) and Mirror's Edge (Electronic Arts) were among the 16 games to be shown as playable on the service. Supporting game publishers include Atari, Codemasters, Electronic Arts, Eidos, Epic Games, Take-Two Interactive Software, THQ, Ubisoft and Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment. OnLive does not offer classic video games, but does plan to explore back catalog titles in the future."
While I'm not sure of the viability of this idea I have to wonder how they expect to get these games to work on Macs? Cider? GameTap couldn't get a good portion of their games to work with their Mac client so how do these people expect to accomplish this? Unlike GameTap their games are more modern too. Anybody know?

Already discussed here, so I'm afraid I'm going to beat this topic with a baseball bat until it is lifeless and dead and deceased and can't move. (I mean, that's a lot more fun that just boring ol' locks.) In that topic (or indeed, if you'd read the article
) you will discover the answer of "how it's possible" is that the games are streamed, not played on the device.
