Hi,
Mac G5: Odd things, installer application on CD is not recognized as an application. At first Text Edit wanted to open it but after trying different things the latest Mind Vision app wants to. This is all on the physical CD itself. In other words, the installer app won't install the game because it's not recognized as an application. And also, the game that I had installed successfully will not play. The multiplayer will, but the single player will not. It's as if my mac can't find the resources it needs on the disc.
I deleted everything I could find SOF related, but I don't know how to make this SOF disc appear as it used to in my computer.
Any help greatly appreciated.
Thanks

I have run the 10.5.6 Combo updater several times in the past few days. Thought it might help but it doesn't, the icon on the disc for the installation stays at whatever I last set as the app to open it. The visible file is 4k, it must be the alias for the app, but I can't get it to point the right way.
Thanks for your interest.

I have SOF II, the installer app isn't an alias, it is a 5.4 MB app. Perhaps your disk is corrupt or dirty. Go buy a microfiber cloth, spray a little Windex on the disk and wipe it down going across the disk instead of round and around. It your disk is scratched, get a cheap CD polisher and give it the works. If you just bought the game, get a replacement.
