Um, I deleted Spotlight And now I want it back!

A couple of months ago my computer wouldn't stop indexing my drive. As you might imagine this took up a considerable chunk of RAM which slowed the entire firetruckin' thing down. So I looked up how to get rid of Spotlight (I already had QuickSilver and the only thing I used spotlight for was the "Recent" thing in Finder. So it's been a few months, and I'm kinda getting miffed that I don't have the files. In fact, I don't even know which files I deleted. Do any of you IMGers know how I could get it back?
Edit: So after a bit of research, I think I deleted "Search.bundle" under HD/System/Library/Core Services/ . My Spotlight.app is still there but the thing that makes it tick isn't. Could somebody just send me the file?

You could simply Archive and install Mac OS X.
I sure miss Panther's Finder. Indexing a HD was a breeze also in Panther. Ah, the olden days of yore, when Mac OS X was
simple as pie and tBC was much younger and didn't yell as much.

I'm going to do a thorough cleanup/reformat/reinstall when school gets out. Spotlight can wait, Quicksilver is fine for now.

Awesome! I love cleanups/reformats/andreinstalls!!!!
Can I come over and supervise and couch you along? And maybe, just maybe, tBC too?
I'll order the pizza. With anchovies for tBC of course.
Quicksilver? I know I've heard of that. I'll have to check that out sometime. Maybe after I backup, cleanup,
reformat, and reinstall.

Count me out unless you meant to say "coach"!

You deleted spotlight rather than just give it time to finish (i.e. run it overnight or something)?
Does not compute.

When there's a multiplayer version, I'm going to be on Frost's team. Well, except he doesn't seem to actually need a team...I mean, what's the point? "Hey look, it's Frost and His Merry Gang of Useless Hangers-On!" Or something.

I left it on for a week.
If it can't finish in that time, while hogging the majority of my COu and RAM, then its out.

Yes, I meant "coach". And I'm taking a snapshot this time. (I think I'm going to have to call Tuncer about this.) tBC is going to get spanked!!!
The "a" is pretty far away from the "u" on my keyboard, so I don't know how that happened.
BTW, where's me more pics??? Don't answer that.
EDIT- Here comes the Frost!!! Run!!! (I swear you guys must have some sort of an alarm when I post on these boards)
