I've been looking around for a good rpg, and came across Myst online, however it seems to be down. Can anyone say whats happenign with it, when its likely to be up again or point me in the direction of another good rpg?
I tried Eve, but that won't run on my macbook

There's ... oh, what is it called? ... um ... it was right on the tip of my tongue. Anyway, it's an MMORPG that seems to have slipped under the radar somehow. Only 11 million or so people play it. What is it called?

World of Warcraft! That's it.

And if you like HUGE worlds to explore, WoW (as Tibur recommended) has seen a healthy group of Myst Online players migrate to it. If you want to find out what realms they are in or what, best check the Myst Online site's forums.
