I been playing this game for about a week when I needed to uninstall it due to a version issue at a LAN party, during uninstall Vista had the blue screen of death, which probably screwed things up. To make matters worse it had the blue screen of death again during the install    . I was surprised it did this as every app was closed on the computer and only the installer was running. So i download Revo Uninstaller, which is basically a super uninstaller app, cleans the registry and such. I ran that and deleted every single file that had anything to do with with COD:WAW. then I did a fresh install which went smoothly (or so I thought).

turns out that whenever I open the game it minimizes instantly after about a 2 second hang while loading. If I click it in the start bar itll open again to a black screen and then minimize itself. However it peculiarly works fine in a different user account. Some ghost file is drifting around that Revo couldn't find. Any ideas?

Vista is just breathtaking

That's why you should be running Windows 7. It's the same thing without the thing.
