Blizzard Entertainment is asking fans for their input on what should be included in the upcoming version 1.13 patch for the popular action RPG, Diablo II. The company is asking visitors to its forum to offer the single most important inclusion they would like to see in the update.

We’re in the process of working on Diablo II content patch 1.13, and we want to try to include the Diablo community’s most important changes in our production schedule. To achieve this we’re asking for your input on what you’d like to see in this patch. However, we’re making it a bit stricter than a full-blown wish list.

If you were to get an advance look at the patch notes for Diablo II 1.13, what is the one patch note you would want to see?

Our goal is to get an overall sense of the single most important request from every member of the community. We want as many posts as we can get for the largest cross section, so if you have friends who used to play Diablo II or just don’t frequent the forums as much as you do, let them know this is here so we can get their “#1 patch note” too.

Please be mindful that we’re not going to be able to make every change mentioned, but hopefully with your feedback we can prioritize and do our best to cover as much as possible.

Why bother? Fans at Blizzard’s forums had been asking for exploit and bug fixes for a long time.  Blizzard finally started a thread asking for ideas.  There was 28 pages of discussion but when Blizzard released the 1.11b patch, it hardly fixed anything. Blizzard ignored the thread. Why should fans feel that Blizzzard will listen this time?

I want the original 3 Diablo classes back, they were more funner and more distincter from each other.

When there's a multiplayer version, I'm going to be on Frost's team. Well, except he doesn't seem to actually need a team...I mean, what's the point? "Hey look, it's Frost and His Merry Gang of Useless Hangers-On!" Or something.

I agree.  There are still some significant skill bugs in the game that have been pointed out repeatedly over the years.

If you had enough magic skill boosting items, you could use your fighter as a Sorcerer. I do however like the system of differentiating classes based on max stat points more than the Diablo 1&2 skill system.
