Hey guys, i'm testing Vista 64bit on Bootcamp, since i have 4 GBs of RAM which i would like to be able to use. Now i downloaded the new 64bit Vista drivers off of Apple's site, and i transferred that over to Vista Ultimate, but when it got to running the exe, it said there was a CRC error. Now i went back to the Mac side and tried extracting the exe, and i received the same error. I have had the same problem in the past with the XP drivers for the Bootcamp 2.1 update as well. Is there someplace else i can get these drivers that will actually work?

Thats odd...

but it shouldnt matter, as you have drivers on your system DVD from apple, which came with your MBP.
Just pop the disk in whilst in vista and it should install automatically.

As far as Im aware, theres not much new in the 2.1 drivers over 2.0, and everything should work fine on your MBP. Though you may well want to update the GPU drivers direct from NVidia.
Polytetrafluoroethylene to my friends.

Macbook Pro - C2D 2.4Ghz / 4Gb RAM / WD Scorpio Black 320GB ( 255GB OSX v 42GB XP ) / Geforce 8600M GT 256Mb / 15.4"
Cube - G4 1.7Ghz 7448 / 1.5Gb RAM / Samsung Spinpoint 250GB / Geforce 6200 256Mb

We won! Apple offer the 17" with a matte screen! Well... at a price...

Huh i didn't even know that they were one there, because when i tried it, there was no autorun, i had to go search for it. But i just went back to XP because Vista x64 didn't work with half of the programs i had, so there's no point in that.
