Well finally after unexpected delays with Apple's review process Zen Bound is out

Pocket Gamer gave it a perfect score, and it won awards prior to its release.

As of late there’s been a bit more experimentation with the formula (a much needed evolution). Zen Bound is just one of those experiments that proves games can be artful, convey aesthetic and still be entertaining, without adhering the normal conventions of gaming.

Its totally worth the $5 and really shows the iPhone is a capable platform for less explored and perhaps new genres.

Is it perfect? Nah, but is it fun? Yes. Also as a nice bonus you get the soundtrack for free in 320 kbps MP3. Normally I wouldn't really want to listen to the game music but the downtempo trip hop soundtrack is part of the appeal of the game. Just go but it.

I whole heartily agree with everything said about this title. It such a relaxing game to sit down and play after a long day. Highly recommended.
