Get the word out! Cliff Johnson is finally finishing up his sequel to The Fool's Errand:

I've tried emailing img with no response yet. This was a classic Mac game and the sequel should become a classic as well!

 That was eleven years in the making or something. Most delayed sequel ever.

Color me skeptical about the finishing up part. Cliff Johnson said back in May of 2008 that the game "was rounding the home stretch." A quick check via the link shows that the game (about 9 months after rounding the home stretch) was still rounding the home stretch. I have every faith that the game will come out eventually. Well, not really, but I felt like trying to be uplifting and optimistic! :P

This games title is especially poignant and meaningful for those that pre-ordered.

You know a release has been delayed when tBC starts re-using jokes on a yearly basis....

I only have one joke per release. The more they delay it the more you gotta hear it. It is THEY who have earned your ire.

Wait a second. Why? I pre-ordered (so long ago) but it didn't require forking over any cash...

When there's a multiplayer version, I'm going to be on Frost's team. Well, except he doesn't seem to actually need a team...I mean, what's the point? "Hey look, it's Frost and His Merry Gang of Useless Hangers-On!" Or something.

Sorry, I'm not getting your snarky facepalm GIF. Please explain...

Nevermind. If I have to walk you through the logic of why BC's joke makes no sense then forget it....

Hey, we all agree that tBC's jokes are illogical and make no sense! Especially the one about the Pfhor, the priest, and the cowboy, who walk into a bar and the Pfhor says...ah, nevermind, I never really figured that one out. It's pretty darn funny though--it's probably all in the delivery.

Well if we all agree on that then I stand corrected. Or do I mean vindicated?

It's humor, man. Don't think too hard. If you think too hard, nothing is ever funny.

In all fairness, it's not really much of a preorder if no money is changing hands, is it? I mean, if I call up a restaurant and say "Yo, garçon, I'm thinking of moseying on over someday to get me some vittles, you hip with that?" I can't really say that I'm preordering dinner, can I? (Not, mind you, that I'd ever utter such a ridiculous sentence. How silly! The last bit would be "you hep with that?", of course.)

You know, that's an exceptionally loooooong home stretch. Talk about unrealistic deadlines.
