Hey everyone!

I've been having a blast getting an old G3 powerbook (wallstreet) running again after it was given to me by someone who said it was "broken" (uh, it just needed the os installed???). Anyways, I have recently been getting into strategy games and wanted to play some of the old hex based games that I remember seeing years past, but never got into at the time. I have "Close Combat 2" that I'm going to install but was wondering if anyone here had any recommendations of good games that I should try (preferably freeware). I like games in the vein of the Steve Jackson game "OGRE", etc. Also, I am running OS 9 on this machine so that's the system I am interested in at the moment.

Pick up Strategic Conquest by Delta Tao. It's not free, but it is fun.

The V 4 Victory series and World at War were classic hex-and-counter type games. Very excellent for the time. From Atomic Games.
