I'm actually TOO good at both TMFPPG and Fable:TLC.
I sleep in a BBEdit T-shirt, but I'm a TextMate user.

Since on the PC Securom is now only used for the initial activation, and after that not at all, its plausible that Feral might stick with the copy protection they've been using up until now. Then again, I honestly don't know.
Macbook Pro - C2D 2.4Ghz / 4GB RAM / Samsung 830 256GB SSD / Geforce 8600M GT 256Mb / 15.4"
Cube - G4 1.7Ghz 7448 / 1.5GB RAM / Samsung Spinpoint 250GB / Geforce 6200 256Mb
Self-built PC - C2Q Q8300 2.5Ghz / 4GB RAM / Samsung 830 256GB SSD / Radeon 7850 OC 1GB / W7 x64
and a beautiful HP LP2475w 24" H-IPS monitor

Just to keep everyone calm we will not be using Securom on the Mac version. We have our own in house system that after a simple DNA profile will allow you to play....
In all seriousness you will need to have the DVD in the drive but you will not have any activation limits. However with only one disk per box we think it limits how many people can play at once without requiring any rootkit's to be installed.

As uncut as all the PC etc versions.
dr.zeissler, on September 24th 2009, 03:58 AM, said:
Yes the german version has been USK'd in line with the german SKU on other platforms.
If you wish to play uncut you will need to buy a copy outside Germany. We have one worldwide disk
which plays in all languages and is for sale in all countries apart from Germany.
We have another version that plays in all languages and is censored this version is sold in Germany.
This matches the PC and Console releases in behavior.

I don't suppose you could comment on whether any use was made of the DX10 codepath from the Windows version or dr.zeissler's concerns earlier in the thread about water and lighting quality being on par with the Windows version?

It matches the PC in every way, the DX10 effects are disabled but they are so subtle you need to stare at screenshots for a few hours to tell the difference. The water reflection is the same as the PC in fact you should not be able to tell between the PC and the Mac when watching gameplay footage. The only thing left out is the DX10 water trails feature which is not supported on the initial release but we might look at it for a patch if it looks easy to implement if we do it will likely be 10.6 only.
It was a big aim to make sure the game looks just as good on the Mac as the PC or Console.

Oh, come on. We all know what - or who - is meant with "Ash".
Boomstick + chainsaw = any game with a boomstick and a chainsaw.

Clever thinking there, but incorrect on all guesses if anyone gets the games I would be amazed as this codename was unlike all the others not created by Feral but by the original dev team.
A few Feral code names in the past include 'Arnold' for 'Stunts and Effects' and 'Songbird' for 'LEGO Batman'.
