This is the "OMG! It's coming to the Mac!" announcement Edwin was hinting at a few weeks ago.

I'm still a bit shocked: This is probably the biggest title Feral has ever handled. fire trucking amazing.

I'm really waiting for this one, because I never had the chance to finish it on Windows (was really bored to reboot !). I'd probably get it, so please Feral, don't mess this port and maybe you'll eventually get my consideration ;)

I dont know if I could bring myself to be evil on a second play through though...

Holy crap Feral. I guess I will have no excuse for playing Bioshock now...

Just reading the comments on that Macworld article... yikes. People sure have a lot of venom for the few companies trying to keep Mac gaming alive.

I was actually just reading your quote on Davey's signature for the tenth time after I posted that.

By the way, if when you say "PowerPC", you do not mean it in the strictest technical sense, they yes. ;)

(Cough!) I'm probably as guilty of this as anyone else, so I'm feeling the urge to repent. :) Must say I'm really impressed by the amount & quality of Feral's upcoming releases. I guess that as more PPC Macs are replaced by Intels, GMA (though still supported) is slowly superseded by 9400M & with other Mac developers seemingly decreasing their output, this seems a really smart move by Feral. With Mac market share rising, game sales could really pick up leading to even greater things in future. It'd be no more than companies like Feral deserve!

Most of that venom (unsurprisingly) comes from hard-core console imbeciles fans or Boot Campers. Should we really expect anything else?

I was really, really surprised by how negative they were about the whole thing. Two years, it doesn't matter, if enough people will still buy the game, so that Feral brakes even, then it is all fine in my opinion. Also, this is not the only game for that to happen, and the porting of UE3 is a great thing indeed.

Wow, Feral is literally running circles around Aspyr. Amazing. Too bad I just bought this on Steam a few weeks ago for 4.99.

Aspyr, are you alive over there??

Although Feral is being pretty awesome lately, they are not literally running circles around Aspyr. That would involve Edwin et al actually, for real, going over and physically running in circles around Aspyr's HQ. While that would be quite amusing, I don't see it really happening, unfortunately.

That literally made me laugh out loud.

Well if they've ported the UE3, then games like Mirror's Edge, Mass Effect, and The Last Remnant shouldn't be quite as costly porting-wise, no?

I wonder if Ryan Gordon is doing the Bioshock port? So far his resume only lists Gears of War and UT3 for UE3 games. Maybe Feral is doing it in house which is why it was such a well kept secret.
