I'm really interested in seeing how the sheer volume of iP/t games is managed and presented. It's a jungle out there. User reviews are absolutely popsnizzle in the App Store. Given all the various categories for games, a "AAA" category would be useful. It's definitely a casual/waiting room device. The iP/t probably needs a longer life battery to move beyond casual gaming. Not a single iP/t game I have makes me want to pick up my device and play. I would say Puzzle Quest would, if I hadn't already beat it on my DS. The DS rocks!

The reviews on the App Store positively suck. Either people LOVE the game or people HATE the game. So all reviews end up in the middle. And if a review ends up really high or really low, it makes me suspicious. So far I've paid for Ocarina, Tiki Towers, and Masyu and I really like them all. All 3 are ( in my estimation) must have have apps.
I need a site that covers all iPhone apps (games, utilities, etc) to be be bookmarked and checked daily. Games just won't cut it, needs to be all iPhone apps. That will make me happy.
Why, oh why hasn't DaveyJJ chimed in selling his games? Could it be his lingering enormous bruise? Or could it be his fear of ninjas' Alas, he should know that parrots will always win.
On a side note: due to an enormous amount of beer and sweet tea vodka (Firefly!) this message has been very difficult!

I enjoy the tilt steering in both Asphalt 4 and Snail Mail. Trism and Fuzzle are the best matching games. (Neither one is the traditional match 3--Aurora Feint is a great choice for that.)
Other recommended games: Dr. Awesome (Qix with the best tilt control ever, if you can believe it), Quick Draw (online pictionary--needs more players though), FieldRunners (tower defense), Enigmo, 2 Across (crossword puzzles), Scramboni, Galcon (simple RTS), Blackbeard's Assault (like Puzzloop and Zuma), Stone of Destiny (hidden pictures), Block Breaker Deluxe 2 (breakout), The Plateau (planarity), Virtual Pool, Platinum Sudoku (good handwriting recognition) and Ivory Tiles. Some have free/lite versions.
I WANT but have not yet tried Rolando, Frenzic, Paper Pilot, Platypus, Zen Pinball and I Love Katamari.
And don't forget Pandora (free) for when you need a music break

The insideiphonegames.com is pretty much done but we've decided to put it in indefinite hold. Following the launch of Mac Games Arcade, it became pretty much evident that we needed to concentrate on "Mac" related games. The launch has been very successful and we're continuing to work on improving Mac Games Arcade, doing a redesign of Macgamestore.com and Insidemacgames.com, etc. Taking on another web site, frankly, would just be too much and it wouldn't get the attention it needs. We also have serious reservations at its income potential.
The only way I could see it get launched is if someone else wants to take on the site and make it happen...
So, if you're all up to it, we can go ahead and create an iPhone/iTouch Games forum here on IMG.
