So I just got done playing deus ex 2 , and wow, was that a great game.
What I liked about the game, was that it was not so linar. There was a part were the NWO and some secret society said they are really 1, and I killed both of them in the game, shot them in the head, and the storyline continued. It was not so linear. the graphics were good to. overall one of the best games I ever played.
any other FPS shooters out there with a good story line lik this? Not so linear?
also, is there more then one ending? I see you can piay as a female. Will this change the story line and or ending?

There is more than one ending, and playing as male or female doesn't change the story, though it may have some dialogue effects.
Really there was nothing wrong with DX2 as far as story went. It was more in the gameplay dumbing down, and chopped up level design that it suffered. It didn't have the same degree of backstory either, since the email, newspapers, etc. were missing, but the main plot was fine.

I've often thought that had Deus Ex 2 not had the name "Deus Ex" in the title I would have really loved it. As it is I didn't hate it or anything. It was fun and I enjoyed the entire game. I just wish they would have lived up to the high bar set in the first game.
Looking forward to Deus Ex 3. A prequel is a great idea, IMO. One of the things that I loved about the first game was that it was futuristic, but not too futuristic. The state of the world, the collapse of major world powers, all that seemed very real to me in the game. It was chilling to see our democratic institutions perverted and turned against us. I'd love to see how things got to that point, and I think Deus Ex 3 can really excel in that. *fingers crossed*
