Freeverse and Runesoft have announced that Freeverse will be distributing the Mac version of the adventure game title, Jack Keane, to retail stores in North America. The game follows the humorous adventures of Jack as he struggles to solve the mysteries of Tooth Island and his own past. It features a cast of more than 40 characters, 15 locations to explore, and more than 250 objects for use in puzzle solving.

"Freeverse is thrilled to be distributing Jack Keane to Macintosh owners in North America", said Ian Lynch Smith, President of Freeverse. "Jack Keane has been very popular among PC players, and now Mac gamers have the chance to experience this hilarious adventure for themselves!"

Jack Keane takes players on a wild, uproarious adventure to stop a mad scientist's army of trained apes out to rule the world. Jack Keane features hilarious interactive dialogue sequences and cinematic interludes, along with a cast of more than 40 fully developed and memorable characters. Players assume the role of our hapless, swashbuckling adventurer and accompany him in his travels across 15 locations throughout London, Capetown, and Tooth Island. Spectacular graphics, including dynamic lighting, realistic water, and particle effects, highlight your adventures. Interact with dozens of zany characters and use more than 250 found objects to solve puzzles, as Jack moves closer to solving the mystery of his past and how it ties in with the present.
Jack Keane is priced at $39.95. More information about the game can be found at the page listed below.

Has anybody played this?  Is it as fun and humorous as they are making it out to be?
