dont play either of the two expansions though, if you intend to play the sequel (not called FEAR 2, either, but Project Origin), since the two expansions were made after the original developer told the publisher to go to hell, and are going to be completely ignored for the true sequel.

Extraction Point is actually really good. Persueus Mandate is horrible however.

Well, thanks. I haven't finished the first installment yet but was wondering whether to play the next 2 or go on to Mass Effect which is staring at me from my shelf.

Hmm, i really liked it, i think its simplicity makes you enjoy every bloody combat situation.

You were right about Extraction Point, which I thought was better than the original game. And I've grown rather fond of the weapons, particularly the particle gun, the laser rifle, and the concussion cannon. So, I'm tempted to go on and do Perseus Mandate. Is it really that bad?

I was ecstatic with Extraction Point and thought it should have been the real ending to the game, which really thoroughly creeped me out. I played the demo of Persueus Mandate and even that was bad enough to turn me off. Just plain boring, and it doesn't follow on with the Extraction Point storyline, which is what made Extraction Point so exciting.

Alright then, on to Mass Effect.
