Doubt it'll come to the Mac (or "MAC," as the kids like to write), so tBC, please move or delete this thread, if you're so inclined.

So....

Who's excited about this? Who's not? Snot? Who doesn't give a crap and is mad there won't be another KOTOR single-player game?

I hope that the KotOR MMO and Star Trek MMO are both worthy replacements to World of Warcraft in my life. Tonight I was just in Nagrand, and it is quite spectacular at night. Since I'm kind of an adventure gamer at heart, the sights and sounds are what keep me in a game for a while. Put me in an ugly place and I have trouble getting far (i.e. Gears of War and Guild Wars in the 'post seering' area).

It could turn out very bad or very good; they seem to be trying to blend storytelling with a MMO on a scale never seen before.

I'm one of those that would rather have a single-player KotOR 3 though, or Jade Empire/Mass Effect 2 for that matter. Jade Empire would actually make an awesome MMO now that I think about it.

KOTOR 3 singleplay is just as likely as before they announced the MMO.

Until this game is ported to the Mac it really does belong in the Windows Gaming forum. Hang onto your Dark Helmet action figure and prepare to jump to light speed cause, mama, we's stepping out.

Well... if you weight the same as a duck... then you must be made out of wood and can float and are therefore a witch.

To get back on track: Since TOR will be set three hundred years into the future from KOTOR2, it means there is still room between KOTOR2 & TOR to fit a singleplay (or many singleplays)

Someone else. Not Bioware, not Obsidian. By the way, obsidian is still "fit for another kotor3 game", as they've commented so many times.

KOTOR2 was one of my favorite games of all time. My life was blown away for about a month while I constantly quicksaved and reloaded, trying to make the best choices in each NPC encounter.
