Could use the expansion, too. Don't buy EA Mac games unless they've been dead and buried for ages on the PC, too. Kind of rules out multiplayer games like BF, though.

Yes, I know, but when it was released for Mac I had already owned the PC version + Northern Strike for quite a while. Besides, I think the Mac version wouldn't run very well on my current setup.

I tested the Mac version of Need For Speed Carbon on one of the new 2,53 GHz Macbook Pros and wasn't too impressed with the performance, and it w'll run even worse on the machine I'm getting. It probably runs significantly better on Windows to a fraction of the price. This is the same reason that I said "CoD4 on Win or Mac"; I'm not sure that the Mac version will run well enough. And it's hard to try out the Mac performance without a demo.
