Just thought I'd let you know in case you wanted to get this one ASAP. While the update description isn't very promising, I thought that the following changes located here were fairly interesting:

- Improves Spotlight indexing performance.

- Includes extensive graphics enhancements.

sounds good!
I look forward to seeing what this does when I install it tomorrow (ill check to see if its screwing people's computers over a little bit before hand too). Though I dont really expect all that much for my MBP.

What's the fun in that?

I have no problems to report yet. Spotlight has always indexed really fast for me. I don't have that much space, but even if it took twice as long, it still wouldn't be a big deal.

EDIT: FALLOUT WORKS!Diablo 2 does too.

Some one is happy, then again, I would be happy when an OS initially breaks my games, and then fixes what it broke. At least Leopard is redeeming itself by mending its' ways. That is good to hear. :)

By the way, on this topic of Leopard fixing the games it broke, I am very interested do know if it will fix CoD 2, as that is a game that everyone is talking about concerning this.

I'll be interested to see if any of those "extensive graphics improvements" will enable more games to run in Crossover. Several of the ones I tested fail because of bugs in Apple's code, not Codeweavers'.

So Blizzard might as well have not bothered with the StarCraft bit depth fix?

perhaps the Pro Apps update released yesterday bring Pro Apps from Apple up to speed with 10.5.5? in which case the latter few benches are moot.
The game related benches show no improvement at all.
