I'm writing a report for school and I need to number the pages in the header of each page. Unfortunately, the header always copies the page before it, so they are all identical. Therefore, I can not number the pages. Furthermore, the tutorial doesn't help because the box that im supposed to uncheck is greyed and cannot be changed. Can anyone help me?

oh, forget it. You click insert page numbers. Took me forever to figure this out. Stupid how it doesn't let you just uncheck the box. :/
