looks like there might be. See AppleInsider
"Among the components still in need of further testing are AirPort, graphics drivers, iCal, iChat, screen sharing, and Time Machine, those people say."
add to that the report at the end of July which said:
""Do not install on the following machines: MacBook Air, MacBook, Mac Mini, iMac (with Intel integrated graphics)," the company is reported to have told developers in a set of seed notes accompanying the release, though it doesn't say when Apple will resolve the temporary graphics glitch."
implying that they wrote new GMA drivers but at that point still had one or two bugs and niggles to work out.
heres hoping they also give us some decent NV drivers for all those poor souls that bought the 8800GT.

ha! seriously? its gaming is OK, considering the card, but could be slightly faster. But its Core Image performance is simply lackluster. It barely manages to match up to the 2600 which comes as standard.
Im hoping that they fix its Core Image performance. For games its still a pretty solid performer on the mac side.

Are we allowed to dream about improved 8600M Gt drivers?

You know the movie After Hours? It's like that. You can dream about better drivers, but it's going to end up in a bad place.
