Ok, so position the base just barely inside the usable range, and you might feel some lag. Under sane conditions, it won't be noticeable.

To a skilled gamer, it will be immediately noticeable.

Yeah, I didn't believe it either, but if you play a real twitch-fest like UT2004 against some serious online competition, you will notice the difference pretty quickly. I once tried it as an experiment, just switching back and forth from the same Logitech mouse in wired and cordless formats, and I got killed about 15% more often with the cordless mouse. Admittedly, it's not a double-blind trial, but try it some time and I think you'll be surprised.

Of course it wouldn't, two blindfolds just ensures that you don't cheat.

You could easily disguise the mice to make them look alike, and even attach a fake cord to make the trial legit. And anyway, a Zen master doesn't need to see to defeat his enemies. Remember Zatoichi.

whoa... guess its better I reply sometime rather than never.  :shifty:

I actually ended up getting a Razer Deathadder partially because I was impatient and didn't wait for tBC to reply about G5 & Mac drivers (gotta order by a certain time to have it ship that day, etc...). So I played it safe.

I like the mouse, though it is huge compared to the mouse I was used to. Sometimes the cursor will sway when I move the mouse slowly... might be this crappy mousepad. The drivers have more options than I'll ever use. I like it.

Thanks for the help & advice!

Well... OK.  But AMG has to stay home and drown in his tears.  Plus I'm adding an inflatable bouncing castle to the party and he'll miss that too.

no, but it does when you end up in a tangled pile in the corner of the castle which is now on its side because of 12 people hurling themselves at that wall.

And AMG is going to miss all the hurtling cause he's a big booger pants.  I forgot to mention the zombie shoot, mom's providing the shotguns and the local cemetery is simply crawling with brain sucking zombies trying to pass themselves off as mourners who leave flowers and wreaths.
