So, we're all going to have to sign up for another forum? But, you said that company was coming and that you'd make me smell your litter box if I got all Mac-y at the new people. mR.sELvETaRM is so confused.

OK. I also got the barn floor hosed down, all the saws and chains put away, and those entrail buckets all sloshed out and fed to the pigs. Oh, and we took down the big Steve mosaic in the nave as well, just in case the aura was too strong.

Do we have to take down the statue of Steve too? I really like that one.

Can we at least make mildly snarky comments like "Yep, gotta love that OS X the iPhones are running...it's really pretty cool, not like that Windows Failmobile stuff"?  Something?  Anything?

And considering that iPhone and iPod games take up a fourth of the News section anyway.
That's largely because iPhone software development is so new and everyone is jumping on the bandwagon ... plus of course the lack of many Mac games.

Well, as iPhone/iPod touch games seem to be the future of Apple gaming (note the minimal amount of sarcasm), there might be a change of mind. Considering the iPhone might be the first Apple platform on which we'll see exclusive games...

You could always use the iPhone emulator from the iPhone Developer SDK to play those games on your Mac too.  :)

Is it just me or did several things change like the number of posts required to get bars and why is the Group Members in blue now? Is it due to me being in Windows?

You are using Windows? Shame on you!

However: that's not the reason. I'm using my Mac and Safari and the colour scheme of the group names have actually changed. I'm not sure about the bars, though.

I've changed the user group color scheme of both the IIG and IMG forums so that they correspond to each other.  The number of posts required per rank name has not changed, you simply reached the number of posts needed to promote you to the next rank.

does IIG stand for InsideiPhoneGames? cos I think that IPG or even iPG would be a better acronym to use.
when people think of iPhone, the distinctive part is the lower case i followed by the upper case P (admittedly the same goes for iPod). Equally, the three capitalised letters are I, P and G because of this. So whilst the spokn emphasis is different, IPG makes more sense than IIG.

The main problem with those is that you can rearrange the letters to spell PIG.  (Or PiG as the case may be.)

So what now, where is this fabled website featuring iphone games?

Can we have a forum about iphone games? Can we have a forum about movies and tv shows? can we have a forum which discusses the inner workings of stevie? no wait, that last one we have.

It's strange, given your avatar, that you haven't been given access to see tBC's private sub-sub-forum where we all meet, eat catnip, and rub our cheeks on things to mark them with our musky oil. Ah well, I have to stretch and get back to sleep now. Perhaps <yawn> I will bring this to the atten ..... zzzzzzzzzz.

IiG has been put on hold for the time being due to other more important projects. It has not been abandoned, so it will show up eventually. Certain important parts of the new website are not yet finished which is holding up the launch (two icons are missing, a shade of blue is too blue, and there is a thing with a little white line).

In the meantime, there will be NO new forums added here to IMG.
