Ohh, good on ya. I still REALLY need to get a wheel one day for GT. If only the prices were a bit lower. I played with a friend's Logitech G27 about a year ago and I was blown away how much my lap times improved on tracks where I previously thought I was good.
Far as driving the X2010, on Suzuka I actually managed to get really close to the silver using just a controller. Oddly enough, that's supposed to the be the hardest of the three, but I found it infinitely easier than Nürburgring GP/F.
Best tips I can give for it (if you haven't already figured them out) is even though it looks like you can't, you can go balls out on the accelerator clear from the hairpin to that lazy left with the sand trap without losing control, and once out of the sandy turn and on the big straightaway, you can again hammer it all the way down the straight and even through the sharp left to the shorter straight without even letting up on the accelerator. Just time the hard left at the turn correctly and the little bit of bank on that turn is enough to keep traction even with the accelerator still at 100%. Shaved a couple seconds off my time easily once I figured those out. Same story on the long, easy left curve following the snakey portion. Accelerator all the way down the entire way, and when you make the sharp right, again, there's enough bank that if you let up on the accelerator and brake just a tad, then hit a hard right you'll fly onto the correct direction faster than you can even see yourself doing it. Finally, the initial two turns: if you don't take the first right all out but rather hold back just a tad, you can accelerate your way through the second right much faster than usual and gain another full second almost.
And I just realized I pretty much gave tips from the end of the course working back to the beginning instead of correct order, but oh well, HEH.

When there's a multiplayer version, I'm going to be on Frost's team. Well, except he doesn't seem to actually need a team...I mean, what's the point? "Hey look, it's Frost and His Merry Gang of Useless Hangers-On!" Or something.
