Fastforward Software has released Galder 1.2, a free update to the puzzle board game for Mac OS X. Galder brings a unique twist to gem stone gaming with a circular, interactive board. The update adds an online lobby for enhanced multiplayer gaming, custom mouse cursors, and several enhancements to improve overall game performance and playability.

New to Galder 1.2 is an online lobby system, which lists active games and allows anyone to join. This system does not require the entry of I.P addresses, and works on both local area networks (LAN) and over the Internet. Two types of gameplay are available online, haste and turns.

The update also adds custom mouse cursors, a battery alert warns laptop users if the battery is running low when in fullscreen gaming mode and several minor fixes improve overall performance, including a fix for a book on MacBook Pros, broken network portraits in Mac OS X 10.5.3 and several user interface improvements.

Galder is an exciting puzzle game which brings gem stone gaming to a new level with a circular, interactive board to enhance gameplay. The unique and innovative interface allows players to remove gems from the board, with beautiful, crisp graphics and a unique soundtrack.
