Hope none of ya's are expectin' a shipment today!

Feel free to come down here and spend some of your newly-worth-something money. Oh, and bring me a case of Upper Canada Brewery Rebellion Porter, some doughnuts, a couple of Robertson Davies novels, and some universal healthcare. Leave the Ann Murray records at home.

In my part ... nice and warm, high 20s with a touch of humidity, clear sky, nice night for fireworks. But more important, taught my youngest son to ride his bike on his own. Two kids, two C anada Days, two bike riders.

Now Davey, are you talking in Celsius, or Fahrenheit? because if it is Celsius, it would not be too bad, for where on the earth you guys are, although if you are talking in Fahrenhiet, then I could hardly imagine what it would be like in the winter.

Today was very pleasant, with lots of sun and a light breeze. Where I am, the temperature reached a high of 28°C and a low of 17°C is expected tonight. During winter months it can drop quite a bit. While we talk a good game, most Canadians are secretly hopeful that this global warming trend sticks around for awhile. ;-) That way we may be able to venture outside during the winter months instead of all 33 million of us huddleing together in the National Igloo for warmth.

Hmmm, does not seem too bad, although it is kind of cold. If it warms up a bit, it would be slightly inhabitable.
