Wow, nice timing. I love these cross-media campaigns. I live in Los Angeles, maybe I can make it to the movie premiere. Which could actually happen if the game gets really popular and then they adapt it for the movies.  I hear Uwe Boll or Paul W.S. Anderson might be interested.

Hey wait a minute....  "in computer game form?"  Does that mean that my character in the game is a computer game? Like, it's Westley, Buttercup, and what, a copy of "Lode Runner" or "Zork" on 3.5" floppies fighting the ROUS's?

I find this whole news item really confusing. More coffee please.

PS: Never cross a Sicilian when death is on the line!

I hope the actors of the 1987 movie got their share of money for having their voices abused in this... thing.

I  love it- I love the movie and I love being able to play the game being that it's available to mac users!  They totally pay tribute the the film with use of the original screenplay and music.  Steve Horowitz and Chris Burke are cool guys. Good for them.

Wow. Why not do it in Flash? Looks like they've butchered it by removing the tongue-in-cheek attitude that made the film vaguely enjoyable rather than tripe.

What is it about this game that generates so much pimp spam?  What should I do with you guys?  If you want to pimp your game email me from an official developers email address: from the website or game company, and I'll set you up with a great developer account.  Otherwise I'm about to delete you.

After every negative comment, a new poster shows up with a positive one. Lets try for third times the charm:

This game is so sucktastic, I wouldn't even let my dog chew on it for fun!

Not only is it an insult to the original book and movie, it is an insult to my intelligence!

Three monkeys with type writers and a text scanner could program something better!

One of the executive producers of The Princess Bride Game has read this thread and wants to allay your fears about bringing such a beloved title to a video game.

...we are offering a 30% off discount to all Mac users thru 8.8.08 and I thought you might want to share it with your community so they could take a real look at the game – just use code PBG-MAC-700 while checking out to get an instant 30% off when shopping at www.PrincessBrideGame.com.

He should be here or in another thread soon to talk with us about it.  I'd appreciate it if you gave him a chance.

Maybe one of the reporters should interview him? Could forward his contact info to Marcus. Just a thought...
