Somewhere here, I’m pretty sure—Ryan Gordon’s .plan ...

... happy digging

EDIT: I couldn’t find the vague comment about the reason for delay, but here’s the screenshot anyway:

Looks like Prey 2 may still be coming, albeit later. Although I have to say that I find that the statement that "[Bethesda] is 'unwilling to compromise [their] quality standards to meet a release schedule.'" is almost funny regarding Bethesda's history of releasing horribly bug ridden products.

So while I was waiting for Batman Arkham Asylum to download, I was looking through my old games on my computer and ran across Prey. I've played through the first several levels and found it to be quite a bit of fun. Easy to play on my laptop without a mouse, which is pretty rare. I have it cranked-up graphics wise, so it looks pretty good too.

:king: this is the first game ever let me shoot people upside down from the ceiling and i 'd never forget the great experience i have had in Prey ... ( too bad the network coding was so bad which makes the multiplayer so dead with so few people even on the first day of release so i played the online as much as i could )

and bad new is the sequel is on-hold and have no confirmable release date
also the mac app store version doesn't support MAC OSX game cent :yuk:  :whip: er which makes it a standalone game ...  i'd had gladly buy it again for its original price

Aw, so sad, as it looked good from the small tidbits we saw. At least now maybe we can get a good article on why it failed. I always love to read those.

Well that's a shame.  The game play was innovative, fun, and interesting.  Even just a DLC would have been great.
